Cambodia Institute for Media Studies (CIMS) is a local non-government organinzation (NGO) founded by professional Cambodian journalism trainers and journalists and officially registered with the Ministry of Interior in June 2008. Its staff includes IT, Administrative and finance capabities and translation addition to journalism project trainers who conduct training workshops and mentor reporters over the long term.

CIMS is dedicated to promoting freedom of information as well as improving journalists’ professional skills. It has been active in training journalists on a range of topics including anti corruption, Khmer Rouge Tribunal reporting legal processes and media law.
